Expanding to Meet Your Label Needs
To keep pace with customer and distributor demand, we're thrilled to announce the building of a new Western States Label facility in Sun Prairie, WI. Scheduled to open in February 2009, this 36,400 square-foot location is 20% larger than our existing Western States Label division in Madison, and provides ample room for future expansion.
The new Sun Prairie Label facility is designed to improve production and be much more energy efficient. For instance, it will be built with tilt-up concrete walls to provide better insulation and a 50% savings in energy costs. This facility demonstrates Western States' further commitment to being environmentally responsible while offering you opportunities to meet the demand for responsible sourcing. The four envelope facilities have earned Chain-of-Custody certification by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry (SFI). They are also a part of an aggressive plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the EPA's Climate Leaders Partners Program.
